PreCheck enrollment

Find a TSA PreCheck enrollment center, fast.

PreCheck live waits

Three providers — IDEMIA, Telos, and Clear — run TSA PreCheck enrollment. The benefit is identical regardless of which one you pick. Use the tool below to launch TSA's official map with your ZIP code pre-filled so you always see the current, authoritative list of centers near you.

Enter your ZIP, jump to the TSA enrollment map

We don't maintain our own enrollment-center database because TSA's own map changes weekly. Typing a ZIP here opens the official map with the search pre-filled so you see the truth, not a stale mirror.

Timeline

From application to flying in the PreCheck lane

  1. 1

    Online application

5 minutes. Pay the enrollment fee and schedule an in-person appointment with IDEMIA, Telos, or Clear.

  2. 2

    In-person appointment

About 10 minutes. Fingerprints, photo, ID check, and a short interview.

  3. 3

    Background check

Typically 3–5 days. Some applicants take up to 60 days when TSA needs additional review.

  4. 4

    Known Traveler Number (KTN)

Once approved, add your KTN to every airline frequent-flyer profile so PreCheck prints on your boarding pass automatically.

  5. 5

    Fly PreCheck

Keep shoes, belt, and light jacket on. Laptops and liquids stay in the bag. Lane closures still happen — check live waits before you leave.
